Happy Monday all! I had a kind of chaotic weekend, so no weekend recap post this week. Instead I wanted to share a review that I've had waiting for a bit today on the blog! I'm a pretty big fan of leave in conditioners and mask conditioners. The ends of my hair tend to get so dry as opposed my roots. I've had luck with It's a 10 in the past so I wanted to give the Silk Express Leave In Conditioner a try!
In the past, I have use the It's a 10 Miracle Mask and the Miracle Leave In Spray. I have loved both of those, especially the mask. It leaves the ends of my hair feeling so soft, and I have no trouble managing it at all.
The Silk Express sprays out just like the Miracle Spray, and has the same smell. All It's a 10 products smell decent - they aren't my favorite smell but not bad. Using the Silk Express I don't feel like there is a lot of residue left which is a great thing. However, I can't say that the result was silky. I felt that it made my hair harder to style, and actually a bit frizzier in all this heat. I feel like it did still give it some moisture which my hair does need, but at the expense of it being harder to manage. It almost felt like my hair was stringy if that makes sense.
It's a product that I will most likely finish out using, if only to justify the cost, but probably won't repurchase. It hasn't turned me off the the whole It's a 10 brand, but I will most definitely be sticking to the Miracle Mask vs. this Silky Express.
Have you used this product before? How did it work for you?
