Easy DIY Gift!

Happy Monday!! I'm not sure about everyone else, but I definitely needed some caffeine this morning to get my work week started. Lucky for you, this DIY post is just about as easy as you can get, which is great for a Monday! I haven't done a DIY post in a bit, so I thought I would share a DIY I did this week in preparation for a girlfriends shower.

Easy Shower Prize DIY

The best part is this is all you need for this project, and maybe not even this much depending on how many you need. In my case, I needed 3 gifts for 3 prizes at the shower.

-Quart Ball Jars
-Tulle
-Clip on Flower
-Cardstock
-Pen
-Cookie in a Jar Recipe (I found mine here

This DIY is as easy as following the recipe, and then decorating the jars how you like. You end up with an inexpensive gift that's homemade, and tastes great. Trust me, my husband and I tried them out and they are awesome.

For my jar decor, I wrapped tulle around the tops several times, and then clipped on the bows that I had left over from my wedding shower decor. I also got a few super cute notepads from the Target dollar section to go with these. Don't forget to add the rest of the recipe in with the jars for the person who receives them! Another helpful tip - pack the layers down as you go as much as you can to fit all the ingredients into the jars. This is such an important step!

DIY Cookie in a Jar

These turned our great for the bridal shower, and I could totally see them being used for gift exchanges, Christmas gifts, new neighbors, or co workers! Let me know if you've tried this before!

  10. Nice gift decoration ideas dear. This year, for holiday party I use similar gift and favor ideas. I wish I could use your idea for my Christmas party at New York event venues as decorations were kind of similar to this one.
