Weekending!

I can't say our weekend was extremely eventful, because it was our weekend to work. Not to mention the weather kept us inside. We got about 8 inches over the weekend, which was really not fun to travel to and work from. It was pretty much "make your own lane" on the interstate. But unfortunately if you work in health care or law enforcement, this is pretty true.

Thank goodness my husband does all the snow blowing, because it is so not my thing. My husband enjoys it and so does Ollie. I watch safely from inside with my hot chocolate.

We tried a new skinny recipe for breakfast, which actually turned out pretty good. One slice of this breakfast pie is only 100 calories, so it's pretty filling becuase you can eat a few slices. You can find the app on SkinnyMom. Check out my post on Friday here for more info!

Our favorite little ice cream place opened this weekend as well! We hope to makes trip there tomorrow or Tuesday - but this is one of my favorites to get! No matter how much snow is on the ground, it's never too cold for ice cream!

I'm linking up this week as usual - have a happy Monday!

  13. So over the weather, right? It has been really sunny the last few days in Chicago despite the freezing cold temperatures. :) Although the weekend was uneventful, I hope you had a nice time at work and cuddling up at home! :) XO
