Friday Faves!

Happy Friday! My post is late getting up today, because it was only half written last night. And for once in a long while I had the chance to sleep in without a furry child waking me early so I took it. I'm pretty sure his internal alarm clock is set at 5:00am. So here are my favorites for this week!

My sister is actually the one who showed me about this e-book, and I am so glad I read it! It talked about how to be more fit, with lots of meal tips and meal planning. Which is one thing I am really bad at. If you're looking for a shorter book that has great ideas, this is it!

Ollie went to the vet this week, and waited very impatiently. They had our time wrong for a bit, so sitting back in that little room for what seemed like forever with a nervous pup was not fun. Ollie prefers to be a human like dog, so he waited every so impatiently in one of their chairs.  On a good note, all his blood work and tests came back excellent!

I am still loving my she reads truth app. I think this is the longest I've stuck with a devotion app and I am glad to say that I still enjoy it and look forward to it everyday! If you haven't found one you like yet, I strongly suggest this one!

We're finally starting to fill up our memory jar! For some reason January was a slow start for us, and we didn't find a whole lot to throw in it. But I also think winter months are slow, and you kind of fall into the same routine. This month is going better already!

I haven't actually made this one yet, but everything else I have made from this cookbook has turned out awesome. So This one is definitely next on my list, because it sounds like the perfect cake for a weekend!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and it stays warm!

  3. Ollie sitting on the chair at the vet - too adorable! Finn would've just been going nuts. I just installed the She Reads Truth app on my phone - I don't consider myself the most religious person but rather spiritual. I look forward to reading this everyday. Have a great weekend!

  6. haha Ollie reminds me of my Lizzy. She's definitely part human. Her fave part of the dog park is to greet all the people first, usually hopping up next to them on the picnic tables.
    Happy Valentine Weekend!

  14. Haha Misa likes to sit in the people chairs at the vet too, although she doesn't wait as patiently as Ollie did. Also that cake looks amazing, it's been awhile since I've made dessert but this might be my long weekend project.
