If there's one thing I love baking this season, it's cookies. My favorite thing to bake is usually cakes or cupcakes. But Christmas just seems to call for cookies. I made this cookie recipe from pinterest recently, and while I thought they were good, my husband loved them and was begging me to make more. So I did, and thought I would share with my readers too!
2 c & 2 tbls flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 1/2 c chocolate chips
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together and set aside.
Mix the butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and almond together.
Slowly pour in the dry mixture into the wet mixture until will combined.
Refrigerate the dough for 20 to 30 minutes.
Bake at 325 degrees for 13 minutes.
Viola! You have your simple, tasty, and most importantly easy cookies! What's your favorite recipe to make on a whim?
