Monday sure came fast! I don't have too much to complain about, because I only have a two day work week and then we are off to Georgia for a week to visit some of my husbands family. So much happened this weekend that I just had to share.
Yes. It snowed on Halloween. I don't think very many kids braved it, because not one rang my doorbell. I get that colder temps are coming, but this was just ridiculous. Thank goodness nothing stayed. This was how I looked when I had to walk outside work and walk to my car.
And isn't this the truth?! There are people in our neighborhood with Christmas lights up already. Let's not rush the season people!! I am still enjoying all the leaves change!
My sister and I celebrate our birthdays on the 9th, but we always open up our presents early. We can never wait! If you follow my instagram you saw the mugs that I got us. And I am obsessed with the mason jar kitchen decor she got me! I just love those measuring cups that stack up like that!
The weather was pretty chilly, only a high of 45 all weekend. Ollie has his special spot for chilly days, and he soaked up all the sun. But the cold wasn't enough to stop me from enjoying an ice cream sandwich!
What were the highlights of your weekend?!
SO I am not even commenting on the snow. Yuck! I am in love with your gold mason jars!! Those are so cute! I may have to pick up a couple to store makeup brushes!! Happy Monday! Susan
ReplyDeleteOMG I can't believe it snowed already! It got pretty chilly here this weekend too! We didn't have a single trick or treater either and I don't know why! What is wrong with these kids? Oh well, more candy for me! Hope you have a blast in GA! LOVE those mugs!!

What a nice weekend, minus the snow! Yuck! I'm definitely not ready for that weather either. The gifts you and your sister exchanged with each other are too cute! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe so many places got snow this weekend--INSANITY! We had a football game on Saturday, and though we didn't have snow (don't hate me), we were freezing our little butts off!!
ReplyDeleteEck I am not ready for the snow--we just had a quick flurry this weekend and my face was so twinning yours haha! Yay for a trip to Georgia--sounds like you are going at the perfect time :)
