Why to Use a Night Cream

Night Cream for Oily Skin

I have no idea why I didn't try a night cream before. I guess I thought it would make my skin way too oily?? Wrong!! My skin is normally oily by nature. Any moisturizer that I use has to be oil free. So naturally when I decided to try a night cream, I picked one for oily skin.

It seemed like a small container, but after I used it I found that a little bit goes a longggg way. It spreads so easy and goes on thin. It "dries" fast, and doesn't feel greasy or thick at all.

I also love that this is hypo-allergenic, because my skin is so sensitive to a lot of things. I don't get breakouts or rashes from this at all.

I use this about 4 or 5 times a week. I could use it every day and it would be fine, but there are a few nights a week that I just don't remember some nights. You can find this at Target, and they have a couple different types of night cream if you want one for dry skin instead of oily.

PS, you can find this pink tray at my Etsy shop in the tab above!

Have you ever used a night cream, and what is your favorite kind?

  1. I've been using night cream for the past year now and I find that Aveeno works wonders for my skin! I think I want to change it up so I may try this brand, but for dry skin. Great review!

  8. This is the exact one I use. I'm really pleased with it. I heard great things about the brand from some family members, so I decided to give it a whirl. I want to slowly change over to all their products - and possibly and anti-aging line.

  10. I cannot believe you live through Indiana winters and have never used a night cream! My skin gets so dry it burns during the winter. I used to use an Olay brand, but since I've been pregnant it breaks me out, so I need to find something new! I might have to give this one a try.

  12. CUTE tray! Of course you made it ;) I'm awful about using anything in addition to my Pond's face cream at night. Hope the wrinkles don't rear their ugly heads any sooner because of it!?

  14. I don't use night cream but you're not the first one to tell me about the benefits of it. I really need to reconsider, especially during the winter months.

  19. I just started using a night cream. I have never really done much for my skin other than washing it, but I feel like as I approach 30 I should take better care of it.

  20. This sounds awesome! My skin has been more dry lately, but it's also really sensitive and easily irritated, so I'm glad to hear this didn't bother your skin at all-- great review!
