Ladies and Gents Trending Tuesday

I decided that Trending Tuesday would be much more fun this week if we included some things for the gentlemen too! Which also means, that these are items my husband wouldn't be caught dead in. Despite marrying a girl who loves to shop, he hates most clothes that aren't a dry fit shirt and basketball shorts. Oh well, a girl can dream with her blog posts.

Men and Women Fall Trends
I am seeing these wine colored pants all over the blog-land. And I am loving them. Such a vibrant and rich color, but not too bright for fall. Why not put this on the gents too? I thought it might look weird, but when I saw it in the pinterest picture, it looks so good! this may be one trend I could talk my husband into. Fingers crossed.
Men's Fall Wear
I love the look of the brown and black together - it just looks a little bit fancier than just one color. This is a great option for the guys, since you can't really let them get in on the leopard shoe trend. And how adorable are these leopard print Sperry's?! I need to convince my husband that I need these now.
Women's Fall Wear
A sweater is something I know I'll never get my hubs to wear, because he is always hot. But these are so stylish and on trend! They are such a great way to dress up a shirt and tie without having to wear the suit coat. I'm not sure why a lot of these women's sweaters seem to be called "airport" jackets. Maybe it's just coincidence. But I saw this one at ModCloth and loved it. It looks comfy and chic. If you want to be sneaky and get the same thing, look at Forever 21, where I got one for a steal a few weeks back!
Men and Women Fall Tweed
You can't have fall without tweed. A tweed jacket looks instantly fancy, and you definitely can't go wrong with a tweed skirt. And if you can include a tie with the former and tights with the latter, you'll make one snazzy couple!

What are your favorite fall trends for Tuesday?

  6. I think I could get Ed on board for black and brown shoes, and tweed. Wine colored pants? That'd be a stretch for him. But they look great on the guy in the picture! :)

  18. This is seriously such a great post idea!!! I want Mark to wear colored jeans so badly but he won't!!!! I think they would look so good on him! Why can't we just dress them and they do it without such a fight. I mean they do know who they are with right? ;-)
