August Ipsy Bag Review

So I normally post my Ipsy bag reviews earlier in the month than this, but I just kept using the products that I got and had to round them up again for the review. But that's a good thing right?!

J cat Eyeshadow Review

urban Decay Perversion Mascara

Klorane Dry Shampoo

The only thing I was really displeased with was the lip balm. To me, it looked and felt cheap. I doubt this is something that I use in the future. Since the other products were wins for me, I was okay with this being a dud.

The Dr. Brandt pore no more primer was amazing! It has a little bit of a different smell to it, but it worked great for me so I was willing to over look that. I think that it helped my makeup to last, and it went on so easy. My skin felt so soft!

I loved the color of my J Cat Flying Solo eyeshadow - I tend to like neutral colors for my shadows so this was right up my alley. It's definitely not a higher end shadow like Urban Decay, but it still works great and I like the shade. I would love to see what other colors there are to offer!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - I don't know what was bad about this. This product is right up there with my Buxom mascara, which you all know I love. I have never tried an Urban Decay item that was bad, and this was no exception! This was easily the best thing in the bag!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Klorane Dry Shampoo. I am kind of set in my ways about my dry shampoo. I just really love the kind I already use. I almost didn't even try this. But I did give it a shot, and it actually worked really well! The smell was so clean, and worked just as well as my Batiste. It will be great for traveling!

  2. I got the dry shampoo & lip balm. I agree that the lip balm was nothing special, but the dry shampoo sprayed quite powerfully!

  6. Looks like a good mix of products again! So awesome you were able to try that primer, I feel like it's one I hear about pretty often! Bummer about the lip balm, that seems like something pretty basic that should be hard to mess up!
