It's Trending Tuesday time loves! I normally do this post on fashion, but I wanted to change things up a bit this week! With all the travel over the weekend, I spent some extra time on pinterest. I decided to pin and share some inspiration and trends for the home.
For me, the color in a home says a lot. What you paint a wall color definitely does set the tone and the mood of your room. Lately, I am obsessed with grey colors and like tones (my husband is standing firm on not repainting).
I literally love ALL of these Benjamin Moore shades. If it was acceptable to put a little of each of these colors on every wall, I would do it. I love the grey, blue and green shades and how calming they are. Not to mention how clean and sophisticated.
The pink, coral and brown shades remind me a bit of eyeshadows - not sure why, haha! But I like the warm feel they have. I have never really thought about painting a room brown and pink, but with these tones, I have been considering it!
If you haven't scoped out Target's rugs, you're missing out. If we ever get hardwood floors, this will be where I shop for the big area rug. I love their geometric patterns and all of the bright colors. Not to mention, the price isn't bad either!
How great is this ottoman? This could be used in so many rooms, but I imagine it most in my bedroom or in our office space. It looks comfy, but still sophisticated. I love the legs on it, and with the neutral colors it could match so many different color schemes in your home.
I have been loving metallics lately too, as well as gold. I never thought I would be a gold fanatic, but here I am buying it. These pillows from Anthtro are the perfect combination of bright and cheery. Such a cute and different look for your sofas or beds! And these knobs would be perfect for a shabby chic bathroom or spare bedroom, and the price and easy installation are a plus!
Anthro does it again with these little items. If I could have those bow towels exclusively as my kitchen towels I would. Their are so pretty though, I think it would be hard for me to actually use them. Bows are definitely in and these towels take the cake!
Elephants are an incoming trend too - I have been seeing necklaces and tees everywhere with these guys all over them. The bright colors are a plus too, the orange would be a great pop anywhere whether you use them for cream, gravy or anything else!
What trends do you look for when you redecorate a room?
