Trending Tuesday - Home Version!

It's Trending Tuesday time loves! I normally do this post on fashion, but I wanted to change things up a bit this week! With all the travel over the weekend, I spent some extra time on pinterest. I decided to pin and share some inspiration and trends for the home.

For me, the color in a home says a lot. What you paint a wall color definitely does set the tone and the mood of your room. Lately, I am obsessed with grey colors and like tones (my husband is standing firm on not repainting).

Home Paint Trends - Benjamin Moore

Home Paint Trends

I literally love ALL of these Benjamin Moore shades. If it was acceptable to put a little of each of these colors on every wall, I would do it. I love the grey, blue and green shades and how calming they are. Not to mention how clean and sophisticated.
The pink, coral and brown shades remind me a bit of eyeshadows - not sure why, haha! But I like the warm feel they have. I have never really thought about painting a room brown and pink, but with these tones, I have been considering it!

Home Trends - Target Rugs

If you haven't scoped out Target's rugs, you're missing out. If we ever get hardwood floors, this will be where I shop for the big area rug. I love their geometric patterns and all of the bright colors. Not to mention, the price isn't bad either!

Home Trends - Pier 1 Ottoman

How great is this ottoman? This could be used in so many rooms, but I imagine it most in my bedroom or in our office space. It looks comfy, but still sophisticated. I love the legs on it, and with the neutral colors it could match so many different color schemes in your home.

Home Trends - Pillows for Anthropologie

Home Trends - Metallic and Gold Pillows and Knobs

I have been loving metallics lately too, as well as gold. I never thought I would be a gold fanatic, but here I am buying it. These pillows from Anthtro are the perfect combination of bright and cheery. Such a cute and different look for your sofas or beds! And these knobs would be perfect for a shabby chic bathroom or spare bedroom, and the price and easy installation are a plus!

Home Trends - Bow Kitchen Towels from Anthropologie

Home Trends - Anthropologie Elephants - gravy boat, creamer

Anthro does it again with these little items. If I could have those bow towels exclusively as my kitchen towels I would. Their are so pretty though, I think it would be hard for me to actually use them. Bows are definitely in and these towels take the cake!
Elephants are an incoming trend too - I have been seeing necklaces and tees everywhere with these guys all over them. The bright colors are a plus too, the orange would be a great pop anywhere whether you use them for cream, gravy or anything else!

What trends do you look for when you redecorate a room?

  1. Anthro always has the cutest and most different stuff for the home!! I'm not sure what the thing from Pier 1 is but I think it's to change our your pulls and that would add so much more flare to some areas of my house!! Love all the picks!

  2. Love this post. Browsing Pinterest for interior design ideas is one of my favorite things ever. I am slowly doing all shades of greys in our home but my husband is not all about reprinting either. So I just do it myself lol. We painted the whole interior of the house when we moved in,but my tastes are evolving.

  3. i love anthro! esp their decorative stuff and kitchen items. and i don't even like to cook!

  4. I always see the cutest decor finds at Target! And I love those Peir 1 knobs! So cute!

  5. It's amazing the difference that paint can make in a room. I'm with you on the grey's-- so pretty!

  6. I've been thinking about paint colors and home decor non stop recently because we're moving into our first house in about 3 weeks! I love your picks and I've definitely in a metallic mood lately when I'm picking things out! haha.

  8. I love just about everything you picked out! Grays with blue/greens are my favorite-- maybe with a little bit of yellow as well!

  9. If I could paint every wall in our (future) home grey (we currently are in a rental so I can't paint!), I would do it. Ha! It's my go-to neutral color because everything goes with it! Since this has been our first time renting a house, I've really gotten into interior decorating - right now, I'm very into coral with black, white, grey and gold being the primary colors. I plan to change out the throw pillows and a few accents in the fall to give the living space a warmer feel.

  10. what a beautiful round up! that rug from target makes my heart go pitter pat!

  11. What's funny is that I used to hate watercolors and now I completely want my new apartment done in them!

  12. ooh i love all of these! the benjamin moore colours are fabulous, i especially love the peach but husband would never allow it haha. and target rugs - swoon! love them and their price tag.

  13. Dying over those Anthro pillows! SO pretty!

  15. Love love love those knobs, I may need to make a trip to Pier 1!

  16. Omgsh I totally want that rug from Target--those color and pattern is amazing :) LOVE this post!

  17. You have amazing taste amiga, I love everything you chose!

  18. Love every single thing you found...all at my favorite places to shop for home decor. I am loving the color palette and wish I could win the lottery to restyle my entire home with all of this goodness!!

  19. These are excellent choices you have! Thanks for sharing...

  20. We just repainted our kitchen . We wanted to go with grays but our house has a tan/brown palette and we needed to stick to that. We painted it a chocolate brown. I was completely nervous, as I love light colors. But I love it so much that I want to repaint the whole house now!! I love the pink and coral shades you picked and that fabulous rug from Target! Susan

  21. So many cute things! I especially like that Target rug! SO pretty!

  22. Loving the peach-y tones. I don't really follow trends when I'm decorating, but I'll find myself drawn to certain items like Ikat, et cetera from seeing them in magazines for sure.

  23. I just hopped over from Carly's blog and this post immediately grabbed me! I'm currently redecorating and I'm going for a very similar palette as that first image. I love taupey-greys with pastels and metallics!

  24. Loving everything! How cute are those elephants! Obsessing over metallics, though I hardly have any in my apartment! xo

  25. Becky - we are soul sisters!! I love all things Benjamin Moore and I wish, wish, wish my hubby would consider painting a couple rooms gray... but alas, he doesn't want to! (I guess I can't blame him since we are renting, but a girl can wish, huh?)

  26. I'm one of those people who paints their bedroom walls white because I love to change my bedspread to different patterns and colors, but one of these days I'm going to branch out and choose a fun color. Grey is a good idea because it's neutral but still isnt plain.

  27. I asked Tyler once if we could register for our wedding at Anthropologie, haha! They seriosly have the cutest home stuff!

  28. I would hire you to redecorate me house! xo

  29. I love to decorate! These are some cute items!

  30. I love all the pretties in this post! :) The bow towel is AMAZING. I need this ASAP. Also love the gold pillows. I've been seeing a lot of gold decor in stores lately and I just love it! Greys/blues are some of my faves too but those pinks & browns are gorgeous as well. Love this post girl!
