I don't know about you - but my favorite part about being in my friend's and family's weddings is all the fun girl time! My girlfriends and I have made it a tradition to all spend the night together before the wedding, and I am so glad we started this! It's so fun to wind down the rehearsal night with your best friends, and wake up and get ready together the day of the wedding. My house was LITERALLY covered in girls all over the living room floor - it felt just like a sleep over in college :)
My mom, sister and I went and got manicures and pedicures on Friday afternoon - which was much needed regardless of the wedding. You saw this if you follow my instagram. If you haven't tried the mango Panera Bread smoothie - you must!!
Saturday morning we all woke up and started our morning at 7am. A little early, but most of us worked night shift and were a little off schedule so we were awake anyway. Hair and makeup pampered us! I wish I could get ready like this every day - who doesn't?!
Please ignore the shredded green neon lamb in the pictures. It's Ollie's goal in life to make my clean house a mess. He was sooo good though with all the people around, I was impressed with him :)
Sister time with mimosas and bagels! We all had matching pink robes which were so stinking cute. I may be biased, but my friends are just the prettiest girls!
I don't have a ton of wedding shots because I was so busy that day and so nervous about my speech, and helping my husband be the unofficial videographer (is that a word?). But here are some of the shots I did get! Excuse the iphone photos - it was all we had the day of!
They chose to do the first look - which I am a huge fan of. It makes the say so much more relaxing. Plus, we got a lot of the pictures out of the way before the ceremony and the reception was longer!
The last two photos are courtesy of our photographer - Josh from Sunlit Images. We both used him for our weddings and he is phenomenal. He emailed these to me right at the reception! Some of the best ones!
One of my favorite photos is the one below - it's so much like one from mine, I really want to edit these and frame them side by side in my bathroom where I get ready. I'll let you know how that DIY turns out :)
The weekend was so much fun and part of me is so sad it's over and my friends have all gone back home. No more weddings for this family - we were the only two! Not sure what we'll be busy with planning next, but we'll see! I think it's time to plan a much needed vacation now :)
Happy Tuesday lovelies!
