I mentioned on Monday's post that I was going to participate in 2 style challenges this month! I've been wearing scrubs all week, which is rather uninteresting. But I participated in the themes on June 1st! They themes were "high/low" - pairing something expensive with something inexpensive, and "skirting the issue" - self explanatory, I hope :) Here was my take on trying to match both themes!
Skirt: Francesca's // Top: Made In The Shade Shop // Shoes: Target // Necklace: Charming Charlie // Bracelets: Forever 21, Dottie Couture
The skirting the issue theme was a little easier for me to reach - this skirt I feel like can be dressed up or made casual. I went with the casual look for our errand running. My high low theme was the skirt and top. The Francesca's skirt was my "high" item, and the tee was my "low" item. (The tee can will be able to be bought at my Made In The Shade Shop on Etsy!) I felt comfortable wearing this shirt from Meijer, to dinner, and at home!
If you follow my instagram, you saw this picture posted over the weekend when I was at my sister's other bridal shower! The dress is one of my favorites that I have had for so long!
Dress: Target (old) // Bracelets: Charming Charlie, Style This Life Etsy Shop, Charming Charlie
If you missed the Featured Blogger spotlight on Style This Life shop, her tassles are interchangeable with a ton of colors!
Don't forget - the Made In The Shade Shop opens on June 9th! Sign up for my newsletter to keep updates and receive offers!
