It's Friday - you know that means it time for a link up with Amanda at Meet at the Barre! If you don't visit her blog regularly, you should. It is always one of my favorites! It's hard to believe that it's almost the weekend already! This week flew by, probably because I returned from vacay, got called off from work one day (yay!) and have to work the weekend. Here are my top 5 from this week!
If you follow my instagram --->HERE, I posted this pic - the pup and I sat outside while my husband watered all the flowers (he has the green thumb, not me - his job during nursing school was at a greenhouse). And I took it with my new iphone 5!! I am so happy with it so far, it's so much faster and the battery is so much better. I hope I don't get too picture happy for you :)
I ate my chocolate frog from Harry Potter World. And it was delicious. I mean it was just plain old milk chocolate, but I think if it has the HP name on it, it just tastes better for some reason. Thank you, Universal Studios. And now onto my favorite beauty finds this week!
Pixi Glow Tonic - LOVE this stuff. Apparently, based on comments when I first posted about it, it can be difficult to get your hands on. My Target doesn't sell it with their Pixi line, so I ordered it online with a coupon. But this stuff has worked so great for me during the last month. My skin is clearer and softer when I use it, and my breakouts are minimal. If you can get your hands on this stuff, I recommend it!
Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Split End Bandage - This stuff it awesome for the cost. With Garnier Fructis, I tend to either love it or hate it. This stuff is definitely a love. This is a leave in product, and they also make a deep conditioner that I use as well. I can so tell the difference when I don't use this. It makes my ends softer, eases the frizz, and helps with split ends. The smell is pretty great too. And for the low cost, you really can't beat that!
Benefit's Fake Up - I bought this Fake Up with my Birchbox points when I closed my account with them. This stuff really works great as a coverup for dark circles and as a moisturizer. It has definitely become a staple in my routine. The only down side is the cost, I think it retails around $24 which is a tad high, however the product is superb. I haven't decided if I'll repurchase when it's out or try something else (I have been wanting to try NYX's undereye concealer). But if you don't mind the cost, this product works so well!
I hope you all have an awesome weekend, and I will see you on Monday!
Yeah for your new iPhone!!!! Girl I have a fancy camera and can't tell you how many times I use my iPhone instead! I love Benefit's products and that one has been on my radar. Thanks so much for linking up and your sweet shout girl! xoxoxo

yay for new phone! oh my gosh, i want a HP chocolate frog!!! ooh i need to try that fake up, sounds good. i have so many concealers, I think I have the NYX one but I'm not positive. I have physicians formula something, and it was the best out of all the ones I got at the drugstore.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting about the split end remedy. I went to a beauty school and showed the girl of the long beautiful locks that I love because I was almost there (I almost had it like 1/2 way down my back). Next thing she asked is, "Is this too short?" Now my hair barley even touches my shoulders. I almost cried because it takes me years for my hair to grow because it's so curly. She said she cut it because my split ends were all the way up to my shoulders. Anyways, I will try using some of this stuff so my hair won't break when I'm trying to grow it out again. LOL. Sad day.
