6 Tips to Throwing a Successful Party!

6 Tips to Throwing a Successful Party!
You may already know, but I love parties! I have had so much fun planning my sisters bachelorette and bridal shower! {Let's be honest, it also give me a reason to DIY}. I wanted to share with you some of the things I think about when planning my parties here at home - whether its a bridal shower, a white elephant, or a holiday party!

Paper straws are my absolute favorite, because they can be used and they are so pretty! You can get them pretty much anywhere now. The glitter clothes pins were so easy to make, and added a sweet little touch to the shower! The "popped" buttons will be available on my Etsy shop too! If there is anything you can personalize, do it. It makes the party so much more fun!

I realize that this is the cheapest wine ever, but frozen wine so so delicious! If your wine glasses don't all match, that's okay! Just make sure there is enough for everyone, or go with paper instead.
6 Tips to Throwing a Successful Party - Dinnerware
Paper plates are not my favorite, but at least they come in all kinds of patterns and colors. It really is so much easier to use them, especially if you are having a party with mostly appetizers and desserts where guests tend not to reuse their plates as much. And I'll say it again - who wants to wash all those dishes?!

You can find the recipe to this cake here ---> Chocolate Oreo Cake! I'll tell you right now that this cake ALWAYS goes over well, and it's pretty simple to make too. I highly recommend it. And it's even better left over!

  22. I really love hosting parties--it's so fun! Most of my parties tend to be on the large side...two weeks ago I hosted an open house for my cousin and we had 100 guests at my house...so my trick is always to go for food that can be easily made in very large quantities!
