It's almost the weekend! I don't know about you, but I am so ready! This week, I worked all three of my 12's in a row (ew), got my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding altered, grocery shopped, ran some errands for the bridal shower, and I am so ready for some relaxation and some fun!
Not sure where I ran across this blog - www.1styearofmarraige.com - but it is so funny! She wrote a quote or something funny for each day of their first year of being married. She and her husband sound like such fun people, and she has a great sense of humor! If you have time, check her out. These was one of my favorites that I found so true!
Am I the only one that does this to my husband?! I totally use him as my windshield in crappy weather. Her quotes were so funny and so true - head her way if you need a laugh today! Also, can I just say I am so ready for my vacation to be here?!?! I showed this to my sister and said this was me, ready for vacation.
Anyway, onto other matters. In my last Ipsy box, I received a Pixi primer and loved it. So I decided to try 2 more of their products.
The primer is in the little pink bottle. You can buy it in a larger bottle, but it is actually cheaper to buy multiple bottles in the little version. It has quickly become one of my favorite primers. It has a slight sparkle to it, and goes on so smooth. It doesn't make my face oily and lets my foundation go on smooth. They have another type of primer for color control, and I am sure it is just as great.
I ran across the H20 skin tint on another blog I believe, and I decided to try it. This works great for me, especially since I have been wearing sunless tanner and I need a darker foundation to match. This dispenses almost like a gel/mousse combo. It literally melts into your skin. It is so easy to apply, and doesn't cake on like some foundation. It comes in 3 different shades. I am so happy with how this works, and don't see myself switching to anything else any time soon.
I also needed a new toner at the time that I purchased the skin tint and read up about Pixi's and decided why not? It claimed it was great for sensitive skin, which I have. Some toners can be so harsh. I love this product too. The smell is wonderful, and it has been awesome for my skin. I feel like it helps cut down on my oily skin. Overall its a great addition to my skin care routine!
Do any of you use any Pixi products?
Have a great Thursday!
