Thankful Thursday Link Up!

Today I am linking up for Thankful Thursday!
Check out Carly Blogs Herefor more info!
I think this is such a great link up, especially for this time of year since we are in Lent! Did any of you give anything up for this season? I gave up buying food at work. We have an Au Bon Pain in the bottom of the hospital that I tend to frequent - oops! So I stopped to think what I was thankful for this week and here it is!
1.

I am thankful I had some free time this week to start on my sister's shower decorations! And that she got me this wine, because it is amazing! Try it out sometime :)
2.
Thankful that is was almost 70, and that we could take our little pup for his second swim of the week! Ollie loves water - unless its in the bathtub - and has missed it greatly with this really cold winter. Not to mention it wore him out, which helped me get more of thankful #1 done!
3. I don't have a picture for this one, but I almost broke the dryer. By almost, if my husband hadn't popped in and checked on it (because I was too busy writing yesterday's post) then our dryer would have been kaput (spelling?). Thank goodness he's so handy.
4.
I am so thankful for all of this warm weather God has sent our way. I mean 70 degrees in March?! It almost makes up for the terrible winter we had. We opened all of our windows today and let our house air out. I can't remember when spring ever smelled so good! We didn't even need a candle, the fresh air made our house smell superb!
What are you thankful for this week?

  1. I am so in next week ;-) Thankful for health, family, friends and the fact I found a pack of peppermint M&M's that I hid on myself and happened to stumble upon them last night. Thankful I stopped myself after 1/3 of the bag and not a half like usual. xoxoxoxoxoxo

I love puppies that love water... until they're wet & then you have to keep them off of everything :)

  5. I absolutely love the warmer weather and gratitude lists. I think they help us put things into perspective. My dog and my job always seem to top out my list... I mean how can you not be thankful to work somewhere where you're surrounded by tulle?

and I love that you took your own dog out for a swim :)

  7. I cannot agree more about spring smelling so good! I had the windows open this week and every time I went upstairs and could breathe in the air it was such an amazing feeling! We also had the same temperature drop but didn't get snow just rain and a lot of wind :( So glad you linked up with us today :)

  8. I love Au Bon Pain, I used to eat there whenever I was visiting Boston. Good luck with your lent ventures... I didn't give anything up this year (bad Catholic), but I am trying to eat healthier at lunchtime.
