Must-Have Pieces!

It almost the weekend! This week has flown by so fast for me, which is a good thing I guess. Work days, followed by a day of cleaning and organizing and a lent church service headed up my week. I finally got my craft room organized with some real space to work. It's by now means how I want it "re-done", but it is so much more functional now! And not a moment too soon - I am trying to finish up all the bridal shower decorations and needed space to do it in.
As I got ready for church last night, I was getting dressed and thought to myself "I am so glad I have these certain pieces, or it would make it so hard to decide what to wear". When I have time to sit and be creative with what I wear and try on a few outfits, I don't really need my basic pieces. When I'm in a hurry - which unfortunately is a lot of the time - I am so glad I have go-to clothes that I know will work in a pinch. Here are the pieces that have seen a lot of wear!

A really nice pair of jeans. Mine are from The Buckle. I never thought I would spend that much on a pair of jeans. But they can be dressed up or down. The Gap and The Limited and Express also have great jeans, but they just don't fit my body type too well. My Buckle jeans are the Daytrip Leo Bootcut (similar above).
My favorite go-to cardigan is my open front, long grey sweater from Francesca's. This cardigan literally matches anything. It looks great with any jewelery, any scarf, any jeans, and almost any top. It can also be dressed up or down, not to mention it's so comfy! By the way, I wore both of these to church last night :)
My yellow scarf from Forever 21 is one of the best. It's extra long and extra warm, and goes with a lot of my longer necklaces. They have a lot of colors to choose from, and we all know their prices are cheap, so it's a win-win!
Don't even get me started on these nude heels from Charlotte Russe. That store is my go to for heels, and nude ones are just the best. I love the height, and they are comfy to walk in. And of course, they match it all :)
I actually just discovered these. How cute?! I have some from Target too, and these colors are a great way to add a pop of color to your hair. Especially since I am growing my bangs out, and I am having to pin them back all the time. Anyone else have this problem? They are driving me crazy!!
And of course, my go to nail color. Pink!! If you've been a follower for a while, you know I love pink. In my opinion, pink goes with all colors  and all seasons. And if its gel polish - count me in! It just gives you that extra girly feeling.
What are your go-to, must-have items that you use in a pinch??

  10. I've been wanting some new scarves for spring/summer! I have a few pairs of F21 jeans that I love that were super cheap, but you don't realize how amazing good jeans are until you spend a little money and can see why they're worth it!
