DIY Easter Bunny Banner

You know me, I needed a banner for my mantle for Easter! I love decorating for spring - the bright colors always brighten my mood. And I can remember decorating for Easter with my mom and my sister, and it was always one of my favorites. And not to mention, this DIY is so extremely easy! It only took me the better part 30 min to make!
Here is what you'll need:
-Hot glue gun
-1 yard of felt
-Twine
-Scissors
-Pom Poms
DIY Easter Banner
I just got my bunny pattern from google - I searched "bunny", and this popped up. So I printed it and cut it out! Buying the felt by the yard was just as cheap as buying individual sheets of felt, and now I have leftover to use for other projects.
Double your fabric over, so that the folded end is facing toward you. Then trace the bunny pattern, with the top of the ears on the the fold. This is how your bunnies will hang.

I traced mine with a pink permanent marker. I made 5 bunnies, you can do more or less. Then cut out the bunnies, except for the tops of the ears. Again, this is how the bunnies will hang on the line.

This is how it will look after its cut. Fold on the connected ear line, so that the permanent marker lines won't show. You will glue along the lines except for at the top by the ears. You need to leave enough space for the line to pass through.
Then, glue on the tail! Then feed the bunnies onto the twine and hang up!

  5. These are so cute! Easter is possibly my favorite holiday and I have such fond memories of all of my mom's decorations she would have when we were growing up! We don't have any Easter or spring decor so I love the idea of making a few things :)
