Weekend Recap!

What a busy weekend we had! We had so many things to get done during the day time (aka night time for us night shifters), that we ended up having to take several "naps" to keep up from switching back and forth from nights to days. I have a feeling I will sleep so well today. The one day of 50 degree weather was so so nice, but now its back to February's old cold self. I am hoping that there is just another week or two of really cold temps, and then we'll start to warm up for good.

My sister got me the cutest stuff for helping out with her wedding invitations and bouquets. I can't wait to wear that cute heart bracelet - it will be so great for layering with others. And the sign will be going into my craft room, I love it! I'll be posting our DIY bouquets sometime soon!

This was my mini OOTD, when we went to eat out with friends on Friday night. That shirt is my new favorite because it is so so comfy. And the tank is a huge basic staple for me, because it is so long. I have a really hard time finding shirts long enough because my torso is so long. this tank is long enough to keep everything covered and still has some left over to hang out of the bottom of my shirts. And of course after dinner, we had to stop at dairy queen for my regular arctic rush float!
I wanted to use my gift card before church Sunday morning, but we didn't leave in time to stop by there. So I plan to use it before work today - I have two and they are burning a hole in my pocket!

I got to pick up my wedding dress! I was so excited! I think I am going to have my father in law make a better box for it, but for now I am just glad to have it back where I can see it. Is it bad that I already want to take it out and put it back on?! Ollie insisted on being in the picture too, so it took a few tries.
All in all, we had a really great weekend filled with lots of friends, wedding planning, and great food! How was your weekend?

  7. I have refused (for far too long) to have my dress sealed up because I love putting it back on every year. Probably not the best thing for it but I love putting it on. Hhaha

    1. I will definitely be putting mine on - I paid enough for it to put it on once in a while! My mom doesn't even have hers sealed and it still looks fine!

  10. Love that outfit! And I can SO relate when it comes to the whole long torso thing. It's so aggravating shopping for tops! Especially during a crop top epidemic...those look like loose bras on me...ridiculous!

  14. Oh my gosh, I have the worst time finding shirts ling enough for my torso, too! I usually go straight to tunics to bypass the hassle.
