It's been a while since I posted a recipe here, so today is the day! These cookies are amazing. I made them for a pitch in at work, for one of my coworkers last day. They are pretty simple, and are relatively quick to make. And, there is a pretty sure possibility that if you have a puppy, he will look on lazily and later beg for cookies. (He won't get any though.)
Here's your recipe!
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
3 cups flour
1/2 bag white chocolate chips
1/2 bag butterscotch chips
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in one egg at a time. Mix in oil, vanilla and almond extract.
Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Slowly mix into wet ingredients. Once smooth, fold in chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
*I baked my cookies for 7 minutes.
*I used an ice cream scoop to dole out the cookie dough.
*I needed a lot of cookies, so I doubled the recipe.
*Using parchment paper to line your cookie sheets will save you tons of clean up time!
