Goodbye Christmas!

Well, we spent the majority of last night putting away all the Christmas decorations. This always makes me sad - the house always looks so empty afterwards, albeit clean. However, we did score some really cheap Christmas items from the clearance sections of Meijer and Hobby Lobby. Pretty excited to put those up next year! Since we are saying goodbye to Christmas, I thought I would share some of my favorite gifts that I received and can not wait to use!
I love love love the bracelet from Fornash Boutique. Their jewelery is so stinking cute - I only just discovered them from the blogging world a few months ago. I was so excited my mom took my hint and got this for me!
My sister got me some Ulta lip gloss (always appreciated), and some CHI keratin infusion hair treatment. I love both already! You can never have too many beauty products to try :)
Don't even get me started on the owl handwarmers, they are 2 of my favorite things! I can't even believe I didn't think to ask for this! I am so glad I have the best in laws ever! These are from Francesca's, and I highly suggest you snag some up. They are reusable!
My hubs got me these new house shoes from Land's End. My others were falling apart literally, and these are so warm and comfy. They have already been used almost every day.
These Diamond candles are all the new rage here. You burn the candle, and each one has a ring in it, worth $10, $100, $500, or $1000 inside. The gold ring was the one I got - I am thinking its probably one of the cheaper ones, but it's still so cute, and burning the candle down to where I could get it out was like having Christmas morning all over again!
My mom got me a book of 500 cupcakes. Oh. My. Gosh. I cannot wait to try these out; I love baking desserts. They make several kinds of these books, and I am thinking about getting Ryan the grilling one for his birthday coming up!
Can you say Mischief Managed? HOW AWESOME IS THIS CUP? It says "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good", and when you put a hot drink into it, the cup turns white and says "mischief managed". If you aren't a Harry Potter fan, you won't love this. But I do. I have the best sister ever!

I am sure I will share more gifts as I use them along the way, but these were some of my faves! PS - after posting about my new goals for the year yesterday, I saw this. And I am thinking that this is the kind of help I will need. Baha.
What were your favorite gifts you got this year?

I have a few pairs of slippers but I like how you call them house shoes (may have to start using that)....I feel like the first thing I do is kick off my heels and search for the nearest pair I've abandoned throughout my place. 1. I dont think so unless you take it somewhere to get it appraised. But you can tell a little bit by looking at it. K know mine was probably one of the cheaper two - but it was so much fun to burn and open! I sometimes forget to actually burn my candles but not this time!

  28. (my earlier comment was wayy messed up, so I thought I'd post again)

First thing December 26th, my parents dragged us out of bed for the after-Christmas sales and picked up more Christmas decorations. Even though it's past New Year's, our decorations will still be up for at least 2 more weeks, I bet :)
