Holiday Party!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! It always goes by way too quickly, no matter what you have going on. We had our holiday party on Saturday, and went to church and celebrated 6 months being married on Sunday. We didn't go crazy, just had order in pizza and movie night with our pup. We also both had to go to a class for work - ew in every sense.
For today's post, I want to share some of the treats and decorations from the holiday party! I filled up on so much great food that I'm still full!

We finally got to use the wine glasses that we purchased off our registry after the wedding. I love these little glass markers! I bought them from Pier 1 a few years ago. I asked for some different ones for Christmas, but my favorite part about these is the bright colors! Notice the snowman nurse in the background. This is my hubby's male nurse decor for the year!
This. Cider. Was. Amazing. I'll provide you with the recipe this week on a different post, but just know that you should definitely try it. It was all gone by the end of the night. You can drink it plain, or put in the caramel vodka, which I highly recommend. It is the best holiday drink! Is it just me, or does the design on our crockpot remind you of a little old lady's?
Love these straws from Meijer. I wanted a few with a Christmas tree or Santa on them, but apparently those are non-existent at Christmas time?! So I went with pink and black, white and black, and mint green. I thought they added such a sweet accent, and these were a hit too! I'll be saving the leftovers for my sisters bridal shower in April!

These cookies were also amazing. I'll also give you this recipe later this week too. It was so good with the peppermint chips on top, but I will probably also use this same recipe without them for my sugar cookies this year too! Ignore the melted chocolate tops - I made these a day in advance and stored them in a tupperware on top of my dishwasher. Then I turned the dishwasher on. And the heat through the counter melted them a bit. Oops!

Who knew they even made peppermint and mint Hershey's candy? YUM! I had leftover from the cookies, so I set them out. My pup tried to steal them, until he smelled the peppermint. I guess dogs don't like mint. Who also knew that Hobby Lobby sells paper plates? These were half off and saved me a ton of dishes being washed or broken, so they were a must. They had such great patterns!
No link up tomorrow for this week - but I will still be featuring those from last week who linked up with awesome articles! So stay tuned!
What are your holiday party finishing touches and recipes?
