Don't forget to link up HERE with your favorite post from last week for a chance to be featured on my blog! You have until noon tomorrow!
Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend - wahoo! I hope that last weekend, you all took advantage of Black Friday. My husband knows of my love for shopping, so I don't know if its the fact that this was the first holiday season we are living together or what, but he could just not understand how excited I was for all of the deals. How is this not anyone's favorite weekend?! Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday?! Talk about getting your Christmas shopping done. Here are a few things that I purchased on Friday. My cyber Monday purchases are still rolling in via the mail. I am sure this is the busiest week in USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
These holiday hair bows from Forever 21 are the cutest! These were already pretty cheap, and I would have gotten these even if there was no sale. But I am so excited to wear these to work - as a nurse you don't get to "dress up" much. Hair accessories is all I have people!
These tights are from Forever 21 too. If you are looking for a great priced tight and plenty of options, Forever 21 is the way to go. They won't last 10 years - let's face it, Forever 21 clothes wear out a lot quicker than others. But they are an awesome price and do the trick. I may just wear these to the holiday party we are hosting this weekend!
This dress was like $18 - a steal from the $60 regular price. I am beyond excited about this dress. And it may just be the one I wear with the above mentioned tights. Don't judge when you hear where I got it. Aeropostale. I don't think I have shopped there in like 8 years. But I just hopped on their site to see what the sales were and stumbled across this little number. And I am so glad that I did. Their sales were by far some of the best of the day. Just remember to size up with this store - I went one size bigger.
How adorable is this necklace! It was a little bit bulkier than I anticipated, but I still love it. It's different than most necklaces that I have, and I know it will match a ton of stuff. Here I digress - if you are looking for a Christmas present, I highly recommend a jewelry cabinet. (Mine is in the background obviously). Some can look pretty grandma-ish, but if you hunt down the right ones, they are awesome. I repeat, awesome. My husband surprised me with this 2 years ago for Christmas and I don't know where all my jewelry would go without it!
First of all, please excuse the nail hole in the wall. I think it was the previous owner's of this home to punch as many holes in the wall as they could. 2 1/2 years later we are still patching them. Rude. I just noticed it there as I posted the pic. This bag was from American Eagle. I tried to find the link online again, but it's already sold out. There is however, a similar one with a gold holiday pattern printed on it that is still super cute! I bought this to be my new work bag - I have been using a Vera Bradley one for ages. Again, accessories is all I have to dress up at work! So a I thought a glittery bag would do :) PS as of yesterday their 50% off sale was still going on. I also got my husband a shirt, but can't post it for sneaky reasons. AE sells shirts in all sizes in "long", which is perfect for my 6'4" man. He would never set foot into that store, but the shirts fit him so well that I sneak them into his closet one way or another.
I still have some things rolling in, and I'll review those later. But for now tell me what your purchases were on black friday! I want to see all of the goodies!
