Happy Sunday lovelies!
I don't know about you, but I have been shopping for some stocking stuffers for Christmas already. You can never get enough of a jump start in my opinion! I was shopping at Sephora - such a great place for stocking gifts - and I saw their Sample Blitz. If you haven't taken advantage of this you totally should! There are four different options to pick from, and you get 8 different samples. Mine was the Festive Cherry samples, and they all come with a free little bag that will be great for traveling with makeup.
1. Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick: I am not normally a lipstick wearer, I stick to gloss. But this color is so great that I am definitely going to try it. The sample size is a decent size as well.
2.Lancome Perfume: I don't wear perfume unless I pick it out, so I probably won't use this, but I was so excited to try the other samples that I was fine receiving one that I wouldn't use.
3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer: This is the anti-aging primer. I was so excited that they were offering a sample size, I have wanted to try this forever! I have heard awesome reviews!
4. Ren Cleansing Milk: I have heard great reviews about these products, so I am more than willing to give it a go!
5. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara: I really really like the mascara that I use now, but this will be great for traveling, and I like Smashbox products.
6. Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream: I am so excited to try this as well. It came in the light/medium shade, so I will be using it soon before my tan from vacay fades!
7. Anastasia Lash Genius: This is a top coat for any mascara that makes it waterproof! I think this is so genius - anyone's favorite mascara can become waterproof for any occasion! I am super excited to try this!
8. Ojon Fade Fighter Conditioning Treatment (not pictured): I have never colored my hair, but I knew my mom would like to try this. We'll see how she likes it!
These items I purchased along with the blitz samples. The Buxom mascara is my absolute favorite. I have been using it for years. I purchased Sephora's crayon jumbo liner 12 hour wear in dark taupe shimmer. I am so excited to try this! The color is so so pretty, the picture doesn't do it justice.
On another note, one of my coworkers has started to sell Jamberry Nail products. They are a vinyl stick on nail that is supposed to last, be chip free, and come in so many designs. She offered me two free nail covers to try for free to see if I like them! I just applied them today, so I can't wait to see how they last. I put the two samples on my ring finger nails, and painted the rest with my gel CND UV lamp.
I already love the application process. It is so easy - all you need is a nail file and a blow dryer. And don't even get me started on choosing the sample pattern. I love them all! The real test will be to see if they hold up in the hospital setting like my gel polish does. I will report back and let you know!
What do you like to put in your family's stockings?

I think it could definitely be done with perfume too. I never have to many perfume samples though because I just don't use it that often.
