So if I'm gonna be honest, this is how my Tuesday and Wednesday started. I found this on Pinterest, and it is perfect. Why is it that the day you try to wipe all your laundry out, is the day you really really want a nap?!
Yesterday we painted our guest bedroom (I'll blog about that later). And in the middle of it all, our poor puppy had an allergic reaction to something. So after a 12 hour night shift at work, I came home to this and had to head to the vet. Hive every where!! Don't worry, he's better now. Needless to say, it scared the crap out of me. I was a worried puppy mom. I had never seen this before - have any of you?!
Anyway, then I decided it was time to clean my makeup brushes. Does anyone else hate doing this as much as I do? I'm not sure why I dislike it, besides the fact that it really grosses me out. But here are my simple easy steps to cleaning my brushes.
1. Wet your brush, and put a small drop of cleanser on the bristles. I use my Neutrogena shampoo.
2. Rinse out the shampoo well; you don't want any makeup or shampoo left in the bristle hair.
3. Shape the bristles and lay out to dry.
That's it! It's so easy, again, I don't know why I hate it. I use my clarifying shampoo, because it's purpose is to remove buildup in your hair and scalp. So it works great for buildup in makeup brushes too. Here's the kind I use.
What kinds of "chores" are your least favorite to do?
