Candy Corn DIY!

Before Halloween is completely over, I'll share this super easy DIY! And by super easy, I mean like a kindergartner could do it.
Candy Corn DIY
I mean, doesn't this even look easy?!
All you'll need is:
-candy corn colored yarn
-floral cones
-hot glue to secure

The process is so simple - just take the yarn and start wrapping! You can make the thickness of the colors as thick or thin as you want. I tried to vary mine up a bit so it didn't look so perfect. Because of the roughness of the styrofoam cones, you won't need any glue until you get to the end, just to secure the yarn. I was afraid I would run out of yarn - I only bought one roll of each color. But I had more than enough left over. So wrap all you want! It will take a bit to build it up to cover the green base, but the final effect is so great!
Fall Decor DIY
I overlapped each color a bit to keep it consistent. The great thing about this is that its so easy and quick. You can also do this type of project for each season. I found this inspiration on pinterest (as well as the candy corn DIY). I plan to do something similar to this before Christmas to take the place of the candy corns!
I will warn you: this project will leave you craving candy corn!

  3. How cute! What an easy project. Thanks for letting know how much yarn you used, I tend to over shoot or under shoot :) when I craft, that's helpful.
I love the Christmas trees. I'd like to see how you make yours.

  11. Oh what a cute idea! And so easy too! I think I may have to try both - my little apartment is so lacking in Halloween decorations and I know we don't have enough space for a big tree during the Holidays so these may just have to fill in the niches :]
