Birchbox Review and Ollie's Halloween

I have been slowly making my way through my Birchboxes, so I wanted to share what I thought of these products. Not all are from this month's box - I know, I'm slow. But I like to use them a few times before I review, and I don't like to use multiple new products at the same time. That way I can tell which products worked and which didn't.
Does anyone else love the boxes they come in? They are so great for storage in my craft room. Anyway...
Keratin Infused Deep Conditioning Masque
A deep conditioner that you leave on for 3-5 minutes in the shower or for 30 minutes under heat.
My thoughts: I used this in the shower and left it on for about 5 minutes. I did not apply to my roots; I have found that makes my hair too greasy. Overall I am pleased with the result. The smell is amazing, and my hair feels soft and detangled. It did what it advertised. As much as I like it, I still like my "It's a 10" mask the best. Maybe when I am looking for a change in the future I will try this again. The plus side is they sell this at Target and you don't have to go to a beauty supply store to get it.
12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment
An after shower spray that claims to do 12 things, including make your hair shiny, protect, moisturize, anti-age, repair, smooth, etc.
My thoughts: I loved this product. I simply misted it on after I got out of the shower (liberally per the directions). My hair dried so shiny and healthy looking. It was so easy to flat iron with this product, and I didn't feel like I had a residue on my hair. It also worked great with my texturizing powder. It smelled so good, which was an added bonus. I will probably repurchase this in the full size.
SMART Skin Perfecting Polisher
An exfoliating toner facial peel.
My thoughts: This was from September's box. I had never used a product like this, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I used it and I loved it. It made my skin feel so soft. When you use it, micro beads form on your face which I just thought was the most fascinating thing (maybe that makes me weird). I really would like to repurchase this, however the price is what is keeping me from doing so. It is $38 for one ounce! I just haven't justified that yet to repurchase. If you are in the market for this type of thing though, I would definitely recommend it.

On a completely random note - I am not normally a person who dresses up  her dog. Ollie hates wearing things, and I don't even make him wear his collar unless we are walking. But I found this on pinterest and I am highly considering making Ollie be a mocha latte for Halloween. Does anyone else find this as funny as I do? Poor pug.

  12. OMG I love that costume!! That is the best thing ever. I used to dress our dog Buddy up, but now he has a little brother and Scout does not like to be dressed up. So they just tear the clothes off. It just isn't worth it. Have a great weekend!

  16. The dog costume is hillarious. Tho he looks adorable in it.
I used to have 3 of french bulldogs when I was a kid. One got stolen. One got crashed by a motorbike.
So I gave the other one to my neighbor because I thought I couldnt take care of them. Sad tho.
    Anyway have a wonderful weekend!
